James B. Dirker, President & Director of Operations

Jim has been in the helicopter industry for nearly 50 years, having put himself through flight school after service in Vietnam. Rated in both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft, he has accumulated in excess of 27,000 flight hours in high altitude operations in diverse weather conditions, without accident. He founded AirCam National Helicopter Services, Inc. in 1986.

His extensive aviation background covers a wide range of experiences. He facilitated the air ambulance program for the University of Utah Medical Center and successfully owned and operated Helicopter Methods, Inc., a company specializing in aerial camera support for the television and motion picture industries. He was instrumental in developing the pilot/reporter program for two television stations – CBS and NBC affiliates. He has the distinction of being one of only three pilot/reporters in the United States when aerial news coverage was first used in television. As a motion picture Aerial Coordinator and Camera/Stunt Pilot, Jim has a long list of film credits.

Dale House, Chief Pilot

Dale has been in the Aviation Industry for over 50 years.  He flew in the Los Angeles market prior to coming to Denver in 2008. He is a former Army helicopter pilot with tours in Vietnam and Germany.  He has extensive experience in helicopter operations in a variety of roles. He has been with AirCam for over 7 years.

Mike Silva, Lead Pilot

Mike has been flying Helicopters for over 50 years in a variety of roles. He was an Army Helicopter Pilot with tours in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He is also an accredited Helicopter News Reporter, and has been flying in the Colorado market for over 40 years.

Daniel R Raymond, Director of Maintenance

Dan Served in the military with several tours in Iraq where he gained the leadership skills to manage AirCams Maintenance Department. Dan is a graduate of Redstone College where he obtained his Airframe and Power Plant certificates in 2009. He now has more than 12 years of experience maintaining helicopters, and is considered an expert on Eurocopter and Bell helicopters.

Daniel Miller, Lead Mechanic

Dan Miller is a graduate of St. Louis University where he received his Airframe and Power plant Certification. He has worked in the Aerospace industry for over 30 years and has completed maintenance courses on a number of aircraft types.  He has more than 21 years of helicopter and airplane maintenance experience.

William Schott, HeliPlex Manager

Bill is a Colorado native with over 12 years in the Aviation  Line Service Industry.  Bill has a DOT CDL and Hazardous Materials Accreditation as well as advanced training in Fueling Operations.  We are fortunate to have him managing our heliport operations.

Trish Flaherty, Office Manager

Trish Flaherty graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree with Honor’s from San Jose University. She has experience in the business world with a variety of company’s including a utility company, a mortgage company and a High Tech electronics company.  She has been with AirCam since 2016 using her unique administrative skill sets in a wide range of activities including HR/Payroll, Customer Service, Bookkeeping, Office Management, and Quality Control make her a perfect fit for AirCam National Helicopter Service.
